After shooting this outfit, I realized I was wearing UP colors. And it is very timely as today was our first day of school, in my case, the first day of my internship.

It is just the first day and it already gets me all excited — even though I have no idea what I’m doing.

It seemed like the longest school day I ever had and it was a rich experience where I got to reflect a lot. One of the most important things I realized today is how God allows us to experience something we’re not comfortable with only to get the best out of us! How else can one improve if there would be no progression, right? Hehe

Blood must be shed. One’s growth never comes overnight. There must be change, and we human beings obviously hate change. We hate dealing with the unfamiliar. But, upon seeing the bigger picture, it is the unfamiliar that can bring us to places we’ve never been before! It would hurt, it would cost us a lot of sacrifices, but it would definitely be worth it!

As what my brother said, everything would seem inevitably fast-paced. Your days would be filled with tears and blood and groaning, as you become more and more desperate to survive each day. This can make you oblivious of the little rosebud growing little by little, nourished by every little challenge you overcome each day.

Maybe that’s secret to remain sane in times like this. Always check on the little rosebud and never neglect how it beautifully blooms each time your blood is shed.

Never thought this would be a great encounter with God, the Creator and the Grower of all that has breath! It’s awesome to understand more about how God makes His creation grow.

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
