When God tells you to TRUST HIM…

Have you ever prayed for something to happen, and a few minutes before the event came a storm?

We experienced that earlier at CAYS Starters. [It was only the 2nd week of our campus ministry in Casimiro A. Ynares, Sr. Memorial National High School in Rizal.]

And it was literally a rainstorm.

I was walking to the place where the students would meet and the rain was crazy! Parang wala na ngang gamit yung payong, ulo ko lang ang hindi nabasa. While walking God reminded me the famous instance in the Bible where there was a storm – the disciples were on the boat and they were afraid. (Mark 4:35-41) In verse 40, Jesus said, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

That was the moment I realized how obeying Him when He called me to serve in the campuses in Rizal is transforming me. It has been strengthening my faith in what He can do and has allowed me to experience God like never before! I walked drenched in rainwater and floodwater (wahaha) smiling and certain in my heart that God was about to show us His face. And He surely did!! Huhu I did not have na ounce of doubt. I immediately messaged the workers that it’ll push through! And it was amazing because I also saw their joy and their faith that God will do something amazing. 🙂

Did you see the picture above? It was earlier! The rain miraculously stopped as time approaches 3pm (our schedule for the service)

Grabe! Kung kailan halos bumagyo, mas marami yung students kesa last week!!

Grabe!

It makes me teary eyed remembering how we worshiped earlier (walang pipigil sa worshipers kahit acoustic lang ang set up!)

how GOD made us feel that He was definitely there with us!

How about you? Have you ever felt that the things you are praying for are not reaching the heavens?

Have you ever wondered, if God would be true to His promise when He called you to serve? When storms come, it is especially hard to believe that “God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (Philippians 1:6)

But listen, in this testimony of what He did today, God is also telling you that He is with you in that ministry you have been serving in. He’s gonna do the hard work – the transformation of lives, the people’s encounter with God, the growth of the people in their relationship in Him.

And yours is the easier work.

All you gotta do is have faith that He can.

“A local church will only be as great as its conception of God.” – A.W Tozer

If you doubt God’s power, do not be surprised with a lame result. But if you truly believe in your heart that God is here and He is gonna move in the lives of the people you are ministering, brace yourself.

Prepare to witness miracles! 😉
